This teaching role is ideal for licensed educators looking to gain diverse classroom experience across multiple schools. You’ll deliver lessons, manage classrooms, and support students’ academic development while enjoying schedule flexibility and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:
\n - Maintain a classroom environment that is conducive to learning
\n - Assign lessons and follow the classroom lesson plans
\n - Maintaining a safe learning environment
\n - Utilize a variety of learning methods to enhance students learning experiences and support them as needed

\n

Qualifications:
\n - Michigan Substitute Teaching Permit or interest in obtaining Michigan Substitute Teaching Permit
\n - Associate's degree or higher
\n - Applicants must have professional proficiency in English
\n - US Work Authorization - Zen Educate cannot provide sponsorship for an employment visa or relocation assistance at this time.

\n Physical Requirements:
\n - Comfortable being on your feet and moving around the classroom throughout the day
\n - Able to lift up to 20 lbs and safely assist students when needed (kneeling, bending, quick response)
\n - Additional physical requirements may be requested during your application process \n

Preferred Qualifications:
\n - MI Substitute Teaching Permit or Teaching Permit

\n

Salary
\n Pay: $19.50 - $21.50 per hour, paid weekly.
\n Schedule: Monday to Friday, within hours of 7:30 am - 3:00/4:30 pm (no weekend work).

\n

\n - Weekly pay by direct deposit, with paper check available on request
\n - Professional development, including in-app training, paid role-specific certifications where applicable, and additional development opportunities depending on role and location
\n - Paid sick leave in accordance with applicable state and local law
\n - Medical, dental, and vision insurance available when eligibility requirements are met, which includes working more than 1,560 hours in a 12 month period.
\n - 401(k) retirement plan with no employer match available when eligibility requirements are met, which includes working more than 1,000 hours in a 12 month period or more than 500 hours/year in a 24 month period. \n
