A leading publishing company is seeking a Book Designer to join their team. This 2 year contract role will be an onsite schedule from Monday to Thursday and Friday will be remote. Book Designer Responsibilities: Transform initial concepts into visually engaging book layouts for various titles. Collaborate with art directors, editors, and production managers throughout all phases of book creation. Prepare and format files for printing, including making corrections and creating mechanicals. Develop and present innovative cover and interior designs for review. Ensure production schedules are maintained and projects are delivered on time. Book Designer Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of experience in book design, especially in trade publishing. Demonstrated talent in layout, typography, and color application. Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite or similar design software. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
